# Stack

> Stack is a declarative language and browser playground for writing technical-stack and software-architecture diagrams as concise, reviewable source.

Stack source describes components, boundaries, relationships, themes, and layout intent. The deterministic engine formats, validates, lays out, and renders a standalone accessible SVG. Stack is not an infrastructure-as-code system or an executable programming language.
